Tour of Modernist Reus

Why is the slogan "Reus, Paris, London" so famous? If you're eager to know the answer, we'll meet you at your chosen time along Calle de Sant Joan and get going!

To begin, we'll take a stroll along the Carrer de Sant Joan and take note of the modernist architecture of the Gasull and Rull houses. The next stop will be at Plaça Prim, where we'll see the exterior of the Fortuny Theatre, a major cultural icon since the late 19th century.

The tour will continue along Carrer Llovera, observing the Bartolí, Querol and Tomàs Jordi houses. From there, we will proceed through the historic centre to Antoni Gaudí's birthplace. Gaudí is renowned for his contributions to Catalan modernism, including the famous Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.

After discussing some facts about Gaudí, we will head to the Plaça del Mercadal, where we will admire the modernist façade of the Casa Navàs, designed by Lluís Domènech i Montaner in the early 20th century.

After 2 hours of exploration, we will conclude our tour at the Plaça del Mercadal.
