Golden Circle & Horse Riding Tour

On the morning of your tour, you'll be picked up from your selected hotel or meeting point in central Reykjavik. The tour begins with a 40-minute bus ride to Thingvellir National Park.

This valley holds significant historical, cultural and geological importance. It is the meeting point of two tectonic plates and hosted important meetings of Icelandic institutions for centuries.

After visiting Thingvellir, we proceed to Geysir, a geothermal area where we will see Strokkur, a geyser that erupts boiling water columns up to 20 meters into the air. The term geyser in English is derived from this region.

Next, we head to the stunning Gullfoss, or Golden Falls. This spectacular waterfall, situated in a large canyon on the Hvítá River, is known for its immense size and dramatic beauty.

We then travel south to the Eldhestar region, about an hour away, where our horses will be waiting. Here, we will enjoy a horse riding tour in Hveragerði, an area rich in Icelandic nature.

After an hour of horseback riding, we conclude our tour with a return bus journey to Reykjavik, arriving at around 7 pm.
