Golden Circle Tour Itinerary
On the tour day, meet your guide at the central meeting point in Reykjavik. You will head east to Geysir, known for its geothermal activity and geysers, including Strokkur, which erupts every 10 minutes to heights of 15 to 20 meters (49 to 66 feet). Next, visit Gullfoss Waterfall, which plunges over 30 meters (over 100 feet). After enjoying the sights, you will have a lunch break (not included). The next stop is Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can see Thingvallavatn, Iceland's largest natural lake, and the tectonic plate boundaries. After some free time to explore the area, you will return to Reykjavik.
