Day Trip Details
Meet at the designated location in Reykjavik in the morning, then travel to the Highlands of Iceland to reach the Landmannalaugar nature reserve, known as the "pearl of the central Highlands." Upon arrival, a light trek begins to showcase the area’s unique volcanic valleys, rivers, and lakes, including the stunning Hnausapollur, a blue volcanic lake over 10,000 years old. Appreciate the vibrant contrasts in natural colors, featuring turquoise crater lakes and the vivid hues of the mountains.
After a 3-hour trek, you will have free time to rest and eat. The trip continues to the region's natural pools, where you can relax in thermal springs while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
