Reykjavik Fishing Trip

If you're a fan of fishing or just fancy a day at sea, this activity is made for you! Meet your guide at the scheduled time at 1 Hlésgata Street, where you'll climb aboard a fishing boat ready for your sea angling adventure around Reykjavik.

Set sail over Faxa Bay, known for its rich marine life. Atlantic mackerel, pollock, cod, and haddock are some of the species you might catch during your fishing trip.

Your day will culminate in a unique lunch: you'll eat your catch on board as the crew cooks your freshly caught fish, serving it with potatoes, homemade sauce, and water. From sea to plate!

If you tour between May and August, you'll make a stop at Akurey Island, known as Puffin Island, for birdwatching before returning to the departure point after three hours of fishing off the coast of Iceland.

Do you need to know how to fish?

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're an experienced angler or it's your first time, you'll enjoy this activity. If you have no experience, the boat captain will provide a lesson on the best fishing techniques for Reykjavik.
