Feel like a genuine explorer, touring southern Iceland's glaciers on a snowmobile and discovering the island's waterfalls, resulting in an adventure-filled day.
Snowmobile Tour
The tour starts at a meeting point in Reykjavik and proceeds to the east of the island. Experience the landscapes of the Icelandic highlands, characterized by glaciers and volcanoes.
First, we will visit the Skógafoss waterfall and then continue to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can explore behind the fall and enjoy the view through the water curtain. At both locations, you will have free time for exploration.
A lunch stop will occur before heading to Mýrdalsjökull, where you will receive all necessary equipment and instructions. You will then pilot your snowmobile for one hour over the glacier, exploring the stunning region dominated by the Katla volcano, and enjoying the winter landscape for two hours.
The excursion concludes with our return to Reykjavik, estimated around 7:30 pm.
Required documentation
You must have a driving licence to operate the snowmobile. The price is per person, on a shared snowmobile for two.Wear warm clothing and suitable footwear for mountain walking.
