Waterfalls & South Coast of Iceland Tour

Following pickup from your selected meeting point in Reykjavik at the specified time, the tour will begin along the south coast of Iceland. The journey includes views of the lava fields at the base of Hengill Mountain. On clear days, Mount Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes, along with the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago, may be visible.

The first stop will be Reynisfjara, a black sand beach known for the Reynisdrangar basalt stacks. You will explore this landscape and learn about the local legends.

Next, the tour will proceed to the village of Vík, where there will be 30 minutes of free time for lunch. Vík is notable as the southernmost town in Iceland.

The tour continues to Skógafoss waterfall, where the river cascades from 60 meters above, creating opportunities for photographs, particularly of rainbows formed by sunlight interacting with water droplets.

Lastly, the Seljalandsfoss waterfall will be visited. Participants can climb to the cave behind the falls for a unique view of the landscape through the falling water.

At the conclusion of the day, the group will return to the original departure points in Reykjavik.
