Waterfalls & South Coast of Iceland Tour

After pickup from your selected meeting point in Reykjavik at the indicated time, we'll tour the south coast of Iceland. During the journey, admire the lava fields at the foot of Hengill Mountain and possibly view Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes, as well as the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago.

Our first destination is Skógafoss waterfall, where the river, over 196 ft (60 m) tall, creates a striking sheet of water. This location often features rainbows on sunny days amid the mist.

Next, we'll head to the village of Vík for approximately 1 hour of free time for lunch. This is the southernmost town in Iceland.

Following lunch, we will visit Reynisfjara, the black sand beach known for its basalt stacks rising dramatically from the sea. Here, you will learn about the legend of the wicked trolls who desired to smash a ship against the rocks.

Continuing, we’ll stop at Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where we will climb to a cave behind the falls for a unique view of the Icelandic landscape through the water curtain.

The tour lasts approximately 10.5 to 11 hours, after which we will return to the original departure points in Reykjavik.
