Enjoy the unique experience of whale watching in the Faxaflói Bay off the coast of Reykjavik. Your speedboat will allow you to get close to the incredible humpbacks!

Whale Watching by Speedboat

At the selected time, we will meet at the meeting point of your choice in Reykjavik. We will board a speedboat to Faxaflói Bay, where the humpback whale resides. During our 2-hour speedboat cruise, we will spot humpback whales and potentially other marine life such as killer whales and dolphins. The number of animals seen may vary depending on the season.

This tour is aboard a 40-foot (12 metre) speedboat, allowing us to safely get close to the animals. An English-speaking guide will explain the characteristics and lifestyle of the humpback whales, emphasizing the importance of their protection.

If you book during the summer, we will approach Akurey Island, known for its puffin population. As we return, you will enjoy views of Reykjavik's coast. Don't forget your camera!

The tour concludes at the original departure point.
