Rhodes Island Tour
Pick up from your hotel in Rhodes will be at 9 am. The first stop is Kritinia Castle, a medieval fortress where we will learn about the battles that occurred here. After exploring the castle and enjoying views of the Aegean Sea, we will head to the village of Embona, where we will learn about traditional olive oil and wine production and partake in a tasting of local wine and olive oil.
The next stop is Profitis Ilias mountain, where we will visit the best viewpoints for photographs of the landscape. This will be followed by a visit to the Byzantine Church of St. Nicholas in Fountouklis. Around midday, you will have one hour of free time for lunch at a local tavern. We will then conclude the tour with a visit to Kallithea Springs, the highlight of the tour, before returning to your hotel at approximately 5 pm.
