Explore one of Greece's best-kept secrets at your own pace with this full day trip to the island of Symi from Rhodes. Visit its historic monasteries, stroll through its charming streets and delve into its legendary mythology.

Symi Island Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Rhodes and take you to Mandraki Port. There, you'll board a boat that will take you to Symi, part of the Dodecanese island chain.

Upon arrival in Symi, you'll have the whole day free to explore the island. Walking along the rocky coastline, you'll see the neoclassical buildings on the waterfront.

Symi is the birthplace of the Charities, also known as The Three Graces, and is named after the nymph Syme.

During your day on Symi, you'll have time to visit Ano Symi and the Knights of St John Castle. We recommend visiting the Monastery of St Michael the Archangel and the Monastery of Sotiris Megalos in Panormitis.

After a full day on the island, we'll meet at the agreed time at Symi port to return to Rhodes. The excursion concludes with your hotel drop-off at approximately 5 pm.
