Corda, Coculi & Figueiral de Cima Excursion

At 9 am, hotel pickups in Ribeira Grande commence. We will travel by minibus to Corda, a settlement in the interior of Santo Antão. Upon arrival, participants can enjoy views from this small village in Cova Natural Park and see the volcanic crater of Cova de Paul with its lush vegetation.

A three-hour hiking route will follow, crossing dirt paths and agricultural terraces to observe local crops. Subsequently, we will return to the minibus and proceed to Figueiral de Cima and Terrinha Vermelha, located in a remote area of Santo Antão, where participants can admire green valleys and traditional houses.

The excursion continues to Coculi, where we will explore the banks of the Ribeira Grande River and learn about the town. We will conclude the excursion by returning to your hotel in Ribeira Grande at approximately 1 pm.
