Rabo de Peixe Caves Boat Tour

On this boat tour along the north coast of São Miguel, we'll sail past caves, cliffs, and two of the best surfing beaches in the Azores.

Tour Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the port of Rabo de Peixe to start sailing north of São Miguel. The trip will include visits to two notable surfing spots: Santa Bárbara and Monteverde beaches.

We will then approach Ribeira Grande, where you can observe the tea, tobacco, and sugar cane plantations of São Miguel. Swimming in its crystal-clear waters may also be an option if conditions permit.

Continuing our journey, we will sail towards the lighthouse of Ribeirinha, exploring impressive caves sculpted by volcanic eruptions and visiting the old port of Santa Iria. We will also pass by Praia dos Moinhos beach, offering a chance to swim and relax.

We will conclude the tour by returning to the starting point in Rabo de Peixe, after a duration of 3 hours.
