Santo Antão Island Day Trip

At 9 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Santo Antão for a private tour of the island. The first stop will be at Cova de Paul, the largest crater of the archipelago, with a diameter of 1 kilometer. A viewpoint will offer panoramic views before proceeding to the Delgadinho mountain ridge.

Next, we will visit the picturesque village of Povoacão before heading to the northern tip of the island. Here, we will stop at the viewpoint of Ponta do Sol to enjoy views of the Pacific Ocean and engage with local fishermen regarding their traditional practices.

The tour will continue to Fontainhas, noted as one of the 10 villages with the most beautiful views. After experiencing local cuisine here, we will proceed to the green valley of Paul.

We will also visit a distillery to learn how to prepare grogue, the traditional rum of Santo Antão. The final stop will be the old Jewish village of Sinagoga, concluding the tour at 4 pm with a return to your hotel.
