Combine exercise and tourism on this bicycle tour of Riga. We'll cycle through this World Heritage Centre and view its main monuments. You can't miss it!

Description

At the designated time, we'll meet on Pils Street, where we'll be waiting for you with your bicycles. Are you ready to explore Latvia's capital city on pedals?

We'll travel a total of 11 kilometres (6.8 miles) by bike, cycling through the streets and parks of Riga's historical centre. As the tour unfolds, the city's past and present will be revealed, as well as many curiosities about its most emblematic buildings.

As we cycle, we'll see Riga's Freedom Monument, the Great Choral Synagogue, the skyscraper known as Stalin's Birthday Cake, and the central market, among other places of interest. Various stops will be made along the way for photos.

On this route, we'll also explore Riga's Russian district, known locally as Maskavas Forštate. Wooden houses, cobbled streets, and Soviet architecture prominently feature in this neighbourhood—a total contrast to the medieval style in the city's historical centre. This district is a must-visit!

After a two–hour route, we'll end this bicycle tour of Riga at the same place where we started.
