Description
At the designated time, we'll meet on Pils Street, ready with your bicycles. This tour encompasses a total of 11 kilometres (6.8 miles) by bike, traversing the streets and parks of Riga's historical centre. As we cycle, the city's past and present will be revealed, along with insights about its emblematic buildings.
Along the route, participants will see Riga's Freedom Monument, the Great Choral Synagogue, the skyscraper known as Stalin's Birthday Cake, and the central market, amongst other points of interest. Various stops will be included for photo opportunities.
This route will also explore Riga's Russian district, known as Maskavas Forštate, characterized by wooden houses, cobbled streets, and Soviet architecture. This area contrasts significantly with the medieval style of the historical centre and is a must-visit.
After a two-hour tour, we'll conclude at the starting point.
