On the designated day, participants will gather at the appointed hour in front of the main entrance of the Riga Cathedral. Our enlightening tour of one of Lithuania's most prominent pilgrimage sites will commence. Are you ready? Let’s begin!



We will first depart Riga and traverse the scenic Latvian countryside. As we cross into Lithuania, a brief pause will allow us to capture photographs at the border, showcasing the distinct shift between the two Baltic nations. Upon reaching the Hill of Crosses, our knowledgeable guide will share the rich history and significance of this renowned pilgrimage location, often embellished with thousands of crosses symbolizing prayers and the spirit of perseverance.



Listen to tales of the site's beginnings and its profound importance to both locals and travelers from afar. The myths and stories that surround this site have contributed to its name, along with the numerous wooden and metal crosses that reflect the dedication of all who journey to this hallowed ground.



Next, we will return to Latvia and head towards the Baroque jewel of Rund?le Palace. During our visit, an expert guide will lead us through this magnificent palace, where we will step back into the 18th century and discover the lifestyle of the dukes of Curlandia.



The stunning French-style gardens and elaborately decorated rooms—including the State Rooms, Golden Salon, Grand Gallery, and the Duke's private chambers—will leave you in awe.



Following our exploration, you will have some leisure time to enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. Our journey will then take us to Bauska Castle, where we can ascend the newly renovated tower for spectacular panoramic views.



This medieval stronghold, positioned at the meeting point of two rivers, will provide a breathtaking perspective from the tower. Afterwards, we will tour the castle's interior and uncover the intriguing history of this former bastion.



After approximately 8 hours of exploration and discovery, we will conclude our engaging tour back at the initial meeting point in Riga.
