Kuldiga Day Trip

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Riga and travel in a comfortable minibus to Kuldiga.

We'll stroll through the old town of Kuldiga, wandering the cobbled streets and admiring the architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries. During our walking tour, we'll hear some of the town's notable stories.

A highlight of the visit will be seeing the widest waterfall in Europe, the Venta Rapid, which stretches almost 250 metres wide and is located in the centre of Kuldiga. We'll also see the Town Hall Square, the former house of the burgomaster, and Duke Jacob's Pharmacy.

In the final stretch of the guided tour, we'll enter the Kuldiga Historic Museum to learn about the town's past and see a reconstruction of a wealthy family's apartment from the early 20th century.

After the museum visit, you'll have an hour of free time to get lunch in a local restaurant. Finally, we'll enjoy coffee in Curonia Café.

We'll finish the tour by returning to your hotel in Riga after around 11 and a half hours.
