Latvian Food Tasting Tour

We'll meet in front of Mentzendorff House at 12.30 pm. If you want to learn about the typical recipes and food in Latvia's capital, it's time to start our Riga food tour.

We'll head to the Riga Central Market, one of the largest in Europe. Here we'll stroll among the various fruit, vegetable, and meat stalls while revealing the secrets of its most famous dishes.

You'll taste outstanding local products including rupjmaize, a black rye bread; J?nis cheese, eaten on the eve of Midsummer's Day; and the famous karbon?de, typical pork chops. This will be accompanied by traditional refreshments.

The tour will end at approximately 2:30 pm.
