Did you know that Riga is the European city with the highest number of Art Nouveau buildings? If you want to get to know them, we'll meet at 3:30 pm by the Laima Clock.

We'll spend two hours walking through the streets of Riga in search of its impressive collection of Art Nouveau buildings, such as the Opera House, the University, the German Embassy, or the Nativity Cathedral, mostly constructed between 1904 and 1914, when Riga was a prosperous city in the Russian Empire.

We'll explore the historic centre of Riga, particularly Alberta Street, which features 8 protected buildings known for their colourful façades and intricate details.

We'll also learn about prominent Art Nouveau architect Mikhail Eisenstein. The tour concludes at the entrance of the Art Nouveau Museum at 4 pm.
