Experience the capital of Latvia with the Riga sightseeing bus, designed for your comfort as you navigate through the city. This service allows you to admire the city’s key landmarks for either 24 or 48 hours, with the flexibility to hop on and off at your leisure.
Routes and Stops
Two distinct routes are offered by the Riga sightseeing bus, providing access to the city's major attractions. The red line operates for a duration of 60 minutes, whereas the blue line completes its circuit in 40 minutes. As you travel, you'll benefit from recorded commentary in English, ensuring you capture all the intriguing history and facts about the sights along the way.
For instance, the red line showcases some of Riga’s most famous landmarks. While on board, you will view notable sites such as the Triangula Bastion, the historic Old Town, the Bellevue Hotel, and the local Ferris wheel. Additionally, key sights like Kipsala Island, the Powder Tower, and the War Museum are part of this route. It also passes by the National Opera, the Museum of Medicine, and the charming Art Nouveau district.
The blue line, on the other hand, reveals other important destinations, including Riga Cathedral, the main train station, the Latvian Academy of Sciences, the bustling Central Market, and the Riga Ghetto Museum. This line provides a comprehensive overview of the city’s rich offerings.
You will need to select a start date when booking your tickets; however, you are free to utilize the service within 3 months of that date. Upon completing your reservation, a confirmation will be sent via email, which you will need to present when boarding your first bus.
