Discover the different artistic styles that converge in Riga's historic center, from Medieval to Renaissance and beyond. This exclusive private walking tour, conducted in English, offers a unique journey through the architectural and cultural heritage of Latvia's capital.

Tour Details

After meeting at the Freedom Monument at the designated time, we will enter the heart of the old town of Latvia's capital. The private tour of Riga will commence.

We will start with a stroll through the 13th century Town Hall Square, home to the emblematic Casa de los Cabezas Negras (House of the Black Heads), where we will discuss its history and significance.

Next, we will pass by St. Peter's Church, notable for its tower, considered one of the best viewpoints in Riga. We will also view the Three Brothers, a group of buildings showcasing typical Baltic architectural style.

Then, we will visit the Cathedral of St. James, a prominent example of Gothic red brick architecture, followed by the Swedish Gate, the only remaining entrance of Riga's original city wall.

We will stroll along Str?lnieku iela, lined with some of Latvia's most iconic buildings, presenting a mixture of architectural styles from Art Nouveau to Baroque.
