History, culture, and winter sports await on this Sigulda Day Trip from Riga. Explore historic castles, discover a legendary cave, and learn about bobsledding in the Latvian countryside!

Sigulda Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Riga at the indicated time, we'll head to Sigulda, land of castles, caves and winter sports. This will be an engaging day of activities.

We will first visit the Keizarskats viewpoint for a scenic view of the landscape. Next, we'll head to the Sigulda bobsleigh track to learn about this Olympic sport, including its history and interesting facts.

Following the bobsledding experience, we will explore the fairy tale fortresses in Sigulda, including Sigulda Castle. Here, you'll learn about its history and enjoy views of the Gauja River.

Our journey will continue to Gutman's Cave, one of the most notable caves in Latvia, followed by a visit to the medieval Castle of Turaida, known for its rich history. Lastly, we'll stop by Dainu Hill to see its 25 sculptures dedicated to Latvian folk songs.

We will conclude our Sigulda Day trip with a return to your hotel in Riga after a total duration of 5 hours.
