Sigulda Day Trip

At the designated time, we'll meet at Gr?cinieku iela, number 18, and head to Sigulda, known for its castles, caves, and winter sports.

We will first visit the Keizarskats viewpoint to admire the landscape. Then, we will proceed to the Sigulda bobsleigh track to learn about bobsledding, a sport featured in the Winter Olympics. We will uncover the secrets and interesting facts about this winter activity.

After the winter sports experience, our visit to Sigulda continues with a tour of Sigulda Castle. We will explore its history and enjoy views of the Gauja River.

Next, we will head to Gutman's Cave, one of Latvia's most famous caves. Our route will then take us to the medieval Castle of Turaida, known for its compelling history. Lastly, we will visit Dainu Hill to see 25 sculptures dedicated to Latvian folksongs.

We will complete our day trip after a total of 5 hours at the meeting point.
