On this guided tour of Rimini, you'll explore the city's Roman heritage by visiting its main monuments.
Tour Details
We'll meet at Corso d'Augusto, 152, near the Visitor Center, to start our guided tour of Rimini.
The tour begins at the Roman Ponte di Tiberio. Next, we will visit Piazza Cavour to admire the exterior of the Palazzo dell'Arengo, Palazzo del Podestà, and Palazzo Garampi.
We will then proceed to the Old Fish Market of Rimini, built in the mid-18th century. Following this, we will head to Piazza dei Sogni, home to Castel Sismondo, which houses the Fellini Museum.
Continuing, we will cross the Piazza Tre Martiri, the site of the ancient Roman forum where Julius Caesar allegedly said "Alea iacta est" ("The die is cast").
We will visit Tempio Malatestiano, Rimini's key Catholic site, from the outside, and pass by the Arch of Augustus, the entrance to the city.
After a 1-hour and 45-minute guided tour of Rimini, we will conclude the activity.
Additional Info
We recommend arriving early at the meeting point to enjoy the multimedia and interactive tour at the Visitor Center, providing a useful introduction to Roman Rimini.
