On this guided tour of Rimini, you'll explore the city's Roman heritage by visiting its main monuments.
Tour Details
We'll meet at Corso d'Augusto, 152, near the Visitor Center, to start our guided tour of Rimini.
The tour begins at the Roman Ponte di Tiberio. Then, we'll visit Piazza Cavour, where we will see the exteriors of the Palazzo dell'Arengo, Palazzo del Podestà, and Palazzo Garampi.
Next, we'll stop at the Old Fish Market of Rimini, built in the mid-18th century, followed by Piazza dei Sogni, home to Castel Sismondo and the Fellini Museum.
We will cross Piazza Tre Martiri, the location of the ancient Roman forum, where Julius Caesar remarked "Alea iacta est". Following this, we will view Tempio Malatestiano, Rimini's principal Catholic worship site, from the outside, and conclude at the Arch of Augustus, the city entrance.
The guided tour lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Additional Info
We recommend arriving early at the meeting point to explore the multimedia and interactive tour available at the Visitor Center, providing useful background on Roman Rimini.
