On this guided tour of Rimini, you'll discover the city's Roman heritage by visiting its main monuments.
Tour Details
We'll meet at the designated time at Corso d'Augusto, 152, close to the Visitor Center, to begin our guided tour of Rimini.
The first stop will be the Roman Ponte di Tiberio, followed by Piazza Cavour, where we will admire the exteriors of Palazzo dell'Arengo, Palazzo del Podestà, and Palazzo Garampi.
Next, we will visit the Old Fish Market of Rimini, built in the mid-18th century. From there, we will go to Piazza dei Sogni, home to Castel Sismondo, which houses the Fellini Museum.
Continuing, we will cross Piazza Tre Martiri, where the ancient Roman forum once stood. According to legend, this is where Julius Caesar uttered "Alea iacta est" ("The die is cast").
Next, we will visit Tempio Malatestiano, Rimini's primary Catholic church, from the outside, before passing by the Arch of Augustus, the city's entrance.
The guided tour of Rimini lasts 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Additional Info
We recommend arriving at the meeting point early to enjoy the multimedia and interactive tour at the Visitor Center, which provides a useful introduction to Roman Rimini.
