On this guided tour of Rimini, you'll explore the city's Roman heritage by visiting key monuments.

Tour Details

The group will meet at Corso d'Augusto, near the Visitor Center, to commence the guided tour of Rimini.

The tour begins at the Roman Ponte di Tiberio, followed by a visit to Piazza Cavour, where participants will view the exterior of the Palazzo dell'Arengo, Palazzo del Podestà, and Palazzo Garampi.

Next, the group will proceed to the Old Fish Market of Rimini, established in the mid-18th century, before heading to Piazza dei Sogni, home to Castel Sismondo, which contains the Fellini Museum.

The tour continues to Piazza Tre Martiri, the site of the ancient Roman forum where Julius Caesar supposedly declared "Alea iacta est" ("The die is cast"), relating to the historic Rubicon crossing.

Afterward, we'll visit the exterior of Tempio Malatestiano, Rimini's key Catholic site, and conclude by passing the Arch of Augustus, the city's entrance.

The duration of this guided tour is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Arriving at the meeting point early is advised to experience the multimedia and interactive features available at the Visitor Center, which provide an introduction to Roman Rimini.
