Description
We'll gather at Auto Posto Piracema at the designated time to begin our hiking adventure around Lago do Amapá. Prepare to explore trails filled with Amazonian vegetation and wildlife within the heart of Rio Branco.
This easy hike will cover approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) around Lago do Amapá, an environmentally protected area. The route will take us through a dense forest typical of the Amazon biome, featuring samaúmas, resilient rubber trees, paxiúbas, mulateiros, and achiotes.
Keep an eye out for diverse species that inhabit this natural haven. We may encounter creatures like the friendly monkeys near Lago do Amapá.
Before concluding, we will pause for a light snack that includes refreshing juice, candy, and cookies.
After approximately three hours of adventure, we will return to the meeting point to conclude the tour.
