Lake Amapá Hiking Tour

Join us on a hiking expedition around Amapá Lake, where we'll explore the wildlife of Rio Branco.

Description

We'll gather at Auto Posto Piracema at the designated time to start our hiking adventure around Lago do Amapá. Prepare to explore trails rich in Amazonian vegetation and wildlife, located in the heart of Rio Branco.

This easy hike will cover approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) around Lago do Amapá, an area under environmental protection. The path will lead through a dense Amazon forest featuring trees such as samaúmas, rubber trees, paxiúbas, mulateiros, and achiotes.

Be observant for the diverse species within this natural reserve. We may encounter friendly monkeys during our journey near Lago do Amapá.

Before concluding our hike, we will pause for a light snack consisting of refreshing juice, candy, and cookies.

After approximately three hours, we will return to the meeting point to conclude our adventure.
