Lake Amapá Hiking Tour

Join us on a hiking expedition around Amapá Lake, where we'll explore the native species of Northern Brazil and the wildlife of Rio Branco.

Description

We'll gather at Auto Posto Piracema at the designated time to start our hiking adventure around Lago do Amapá. Prepare to explore trails with rich Amazonian vegetation and wildlife in the heart of Rio Branco.

During this easy hike, we will cover approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles) around the environmental protection area of Lago do Amapá. The trail will lead us through a dense forest showcasing trees typical of the Amazon biome, including samaúmas, rubber trees, paxiúbas, mulateiros, and achiotes.

Keep an eye out for the diverse species inhabiting this unique environment. We may encounter friendly monkeys during our hike.

Before concluding our adventure, we will take a break for a light snack, including refreshing juice, candy, and cookies.

After approximately three hours, we will return to the meeting point to conclude our expedition.
