Angra dos Reis Day Trip

Discover the Brazilian paradise of Angra dos Reis and enjoy a swim on its beaches. You’ll take a ride on a traditional Brazilian schooner around the bay’s islands and sample local cuisine.

Tour Details

At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and head west. After a three-hour drive, we’ll arrive in Angra dos Reis, a beautiful destination on the Brazilian coast.

Once there, we’ll head to the port for a schooner ride to explore the area’s coastal gems. Our first stop will be Lagoa Azul on Ilha Grande, an excellent spot for snorkeling and home to countless starfish.

Next, we’ll visit Freguesia de Santana, where you can see Angra dos Reis’ first church, built in 1843. During the cruise, we’ll make several stops for refreshing swims and to enjoy this paradise.

To recharge, we’ll stop for a buffet lunch at Praia de Japariz. After lunch, you can take a dip in the clear waters and admire colorful fish.

Afterward, we’ll continue sailing, taking in stunning views of the islands from the schooner. Finally, we’ll return to the port and drive you back to your hotel, approximately 14 hours after departure.
