We will meet at Corumbá Square at the specified time before heading into the Dona Marta favela. A funicular train will take us to the highest part of the favela.
As we walk through the streets, you will learn about the history of the vibrant houses, which are home to approximately 8,000 residents. Negative stereotypes about these neighborhoods will be challenged as we visit various educational projects. Highlights include the Dona Marta arts center, the sports center, and numerous street art murals.
We will also stop at Laje do Michael Jackson, a viewpoint featuring a statue of the singer, famous for the video of 'They Don't Care About Us.' Enjoy a spectacular view of the mountains in the region.
The tour lasts 2 hours, concluding with a walk back to the starting point.
