Description

We'll meet at the indicated time and hop on a 4x4 Land Cruiser to drive along the Brazilian coastline. During the 40 km (25-mile) ride, we'll see at least 18 beaches to the west of the city.

We'll stop at Abricó Beach for photographs in this natural area. We’ll discuss this protected part of Brazil and its diversity of vegetation and wildlife as we enjoy the views. Then, we will have a local lunch by the sea.

After lunch, we'll proceed to Pedra do Telegrafo, a well-known landscape in Brazil. We will drive part of the way in a 4x4 Land Cruiser to navigate uneven roads, then reach our final destination on foot.

As we hike to Pedra do Telegrafo, we will discuss the geological features of the site. Once at the top, we will take photographs on this rock, giving the illusion of floating in the air!

After enjoying the views, we will observe the sunset. Before nightfall, we will descend and return to Rio de Janeiro.
