Prainha Hiking and Grumari Day Tour

At the scheduled hour, our team will pick you up from your accommodation as we make our way to the picturesque western region of the city. Here, one of the most well-preserved natural landscapes in Rio de Janeiro awaits your discovery!

As we drive along the coastline, prepare to view five of the key western beaches: São Conrrado, Barra, Reserva, Recreio, and Macumba. From the comfort of the vehicle, you will enjoy breathtaking vistas of these stunning locations.

After soaking in the beauty of these coastal gems, we will arrive at a secluded beach nestled within the Conservation Area of Rio de Janeiro. Welcome to Prainha, a beloved haven for many surfers from Brazil. Our adventure continues with a hike through the lush Atlantic Forest leading us to the breathtaking Caeté Viewpoint, standing tall at 623 feet (190 meters).

Once you've captured countless images of the stunning coastline and mountainous landscapes of Rio de Janeiro, we will proceed to Grumari, another pristine nature reserve. Here, you can enjoy a refreshing swim at its white sandy beach, nestled amidst a backdrop of rainforest.

After spending approximately three hours in Grumari, we will begin our return to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro, concluding our day 9 hours after the initial pickup.

This day tour includes pickup from hotels in several neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro, such as Gloria, Santa Teresa, Catete, Flamengo, Praia de Botafogo, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, or Leblon. If your hotel lies outside these areas, we will assist you in finding the nearest meeting point.
