Tijuca National Park Hiking Activity

We will pick you up at 8 am from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and transport you to Tijuca National Park to start exploring this vast urban green area.

Upon arrival, we will begin a 4-mile, moderate-difficulty hike. During this hike, you will see notable Tijuca landmarks such as Taunay Waterfall and Cova da Onça Suspension Bridge.

The hike will continue to Mayrink Chapel and through a eucalyptus forest, including a visit to the Morcegos Grotto.

Next, we will proceed to Baronesa Waterfall, where you can enjoy a dip in the clean, crystal-clear water.

We will then return to the starting point of the hiking route and take you back to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro, arriving at approximately 1 pm.

This activity includes pickup from hotels in Glória, Santa Teresa, Catete, Flamengo, Praia de Botafogo, Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon. For accommodations located elsewhere, we will arrange an alternative meeting point.
