Catamarca Tour

We'll pick you up at 6 am at your hotel in Termas de Río Hondo, departing in a south-westerly direction.

First, we'll pass through Villa Río Hondo and then we'll enter the territory of Catamarca. Our first stop will be at the Cuesta del Portezuelo viewpoint, which offers stunning views.

After enjoying the scenery, we'll head to San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, the provincial capital. We will tour the historic centre to explore its monumental heritage.

The Catamarca tour will begin with the church and convent of San Francisco. We will then visit the interior of the cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Valle, including the famous "camarín".

After the cathedral tour, you will have an hour for lunch. Once refreshed, we will visit the grotto of the Virgin of the Valley of Catamarca, a significant site in the province.

Finally, we'll stop at the El Jumeal dam to appreciate its landscapes before returning to Termas de Río Hondo. Arrival at your hotel is scheduled for 7 pm.
