San Miguel de Tucumán Tour

We will depart at 2 pm from your hotel in Termas de Río Hondo to San Miguel de Tucumán, a significant historical city in northern Argentina.

The tour begins at 9 de Julio Park, where we will view the Floral Clock. Following this, we will explore the city center, particularly the Plaza de la Independencia, home to monuments including the Government House and the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación.

After learning about the cathedral, we will visit the Casa Histórica de la Independencia, the site of Argentina's declaration of independence from Spain on 9 July 1816.

Nearby, we will also see the church of Santo Domingo, known as the minor basilica of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, featuring a neoclassical façade reminiscent of major Italian churches.

We will conclude the tour and return to Termas de Río Hondo, with an expected hotel arrival time of 8 pm.
