San Miguel de Tucumán Tour
We will depart at 2 pm from your hotel in Termas de Río Hondo towards San Miguel de Tucumán, known for its historical importance.
The tour begins at 9 de Julio Park, where we will see the Floral Clock. Next, we will head to the city center to stroll around the Plaza de la Independencia, where notable monuments like the Government House and the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación are located.
After learning about the cathedral's history, we will continue to the old part of Tucumán, next to the Casa Histórica de la Independencia, where Argentina's emancipation from Spain was proclaimed on 9 July 1816.
Nearby, we will visit the church of Santo Domingo, known as the minor basilica of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, featuring a neoclassical façade reminiscent of Italian church architecture.
Finally, we will return to Termas de Río Hondo, with an estimated arrival at your hotel at 8 pm.
