Puerto Sanchez Marble Caves Boat Trip
The trip begins at the dock of Puerto Tranquilo, departing at your chosen time towards Puerto Sanchez. We will first sail along the coast of Panichini Island, where several historic ships can be seen. The historical significance of these ships will be discussed before we continue to the marble caves of Puerto Sanchez.
From the boat, you will view the lake caves formed by calcium carbonate, shaped by the erosive action of water and wind, resulting in striking geological formations recognizable by their greyish and bluish tones.
During the journey through the Aysén region in Chilean Patagonia, we will also observe a large colony of Andean condors in their natural habitat.
The trip lasts approximately one hour and 45 minutes along the coast of Puerto Sanchez before returning to Puerto Tranquilo.
