Puerto Sanchez & Puerto Tranquilo Marble Caves Boat Trip
At a time of your choice, we'll meet at the pier of Puerto Tranquilo and start a memorable boat trip on Lake General Carrera.
We'll first sail to the shores of the Panichini islet, where we'll stop to admire the old ships stranded in the bay. Then we'll head to the marble caverns of Puerto Sánchez: notable lake caves featuring blue and greyish tones.
We'll enter some of these calcium carbonate caves to observe their impressive marble walls. In this region, we will also see a large colony of Andean condors, characteristic of Aysén.
Continuing through the Chilean Patagonia, we'll reach Puerto Tranquilo to see its famous marble caves, which are part of a National Monument of Chile and Nature Sanctuary.
The trip includes a passage through the marble tunnel. Finally, we will sail next to the notable cathedral and marble chapel geological formations of General Carrera Lake.
After a two-hour and 45-minute boat ride, we'll conclude the trip by returning to the starting point in Puerto Tranquilo.
