Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Las Coloradas Tourist Park to begin this panoramic tour. Through the tour, we'll discover the charms of this small fishing port located on the northern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula.

We'll start by getting into our vehicle at the Las Coloradas Natural Park, which contains a wetland full of wide-ranging biodiversity. This is a protected area categorized as a Biosphere Reserve, emphasizing ecological preservation.

We'll tour the lagoons and learn about their peculiarities. The salt production here provides a perfect habitat for many aquatic birds, allowing them to shelter, feed, reproduce, and breed. If we're lucky, we might see a Caribbean Pink Flamingo.

Next, we'll take a memorable tour of the largest salt plant in Mexico. Here, we'll observe the production process of sea salt through evaporation, the formation of salt crystals, and how it's stored in large mounds.

Before returning, we'll have time to take impressive photos of the pink waters of Las Coloradas. Finally, we'll conclude our tour back at the meeting point after approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
