Experience the stunning landscapes surrounding a community nestled on the slopes of the Tungurahua Volcano during our full-day excursion to Baños de Agua Santa. Our journey also includes a visit to the picturesque town of Río Verde, known for its magnificent waterfall.

Day Trip to Baños de Agua Santa & Río Verde

Your adventure begins at 8 am with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Riobamba, as we embark toward Baños de Agua Santa, often referred to as the entryway to the Amazon.

Before we reach our destination, we will pause at the renowned Tree House and the Swing at the End of the World, both located near the base of the Tungurahua Volcano. Capture unforgettable memories in one of the most Instagram-friendly spots in Ecuador.

Next, we will experience the Fantasies of Flying swing, soaring approximately 200 feet (60 meters) high, where you can take in the breathtaking vistas of Baños de Agua Santa from your swing.

We will then visit a local bakery to savor the unique flavors of the region, followed by a trip to the El Agoyán waterfall and the remarkable Manto de la Novia. At this location, you'll enjoy a ride on a cable car, or tarabita, that will take you over the beautiful Pastaza River.

Our journey continues to the charming community of Río Verde, where you will marvel at the Pailón del Diablo. This impressive waterfall, standing at 262 feet (80 meters) tall, features a stairway carved into the stone that we will descend.

Feeling hungry? We will indulge in a delightful traditional lunch before making our way back to Riobamba. You can expect to return to your hotel by 4 pm.
