Description

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Riobamba and head to the La Chorrera canyon, where we'll start a 15-km trekking route through the Chimborazo volcano reserve.

As we hike, we'll get to know some endemic plants and may encounter herds of friendly vicuñas. We'll pass by the first Carrel refuge and, 1.5 km later, arrive at the Whymper refuge.

We will continue the trail to the Cóndor Cocha lagoon, located at an altitude of 5,100 meters above sea level. Then, we'll descend until reaching La Chorrera Canyon to visit the Chimborazo viewpoint, where you'll enjoy the views. A snack will be provided to recharge your energy.

Finally, we'll return to Riobamba, arriving 7-8 hours later.
