Day 1: Riohacha - Manaure - Cabo de la Vela

Your adventure begins with a drive from Riohacha to Manaure, affectionately known as the white bride of Colombia. The first stop will be at the renowned Manaure salt flats, celebrated across the nation for their magnificence—an excellent opportunity for photography!

Next, you'll explore the salt production complex, where you will gain insights into the salt-making process while touring part of the expansive 4200 hectares dedicated to its extraction. A wealth of fascinating information awaits!

Following this, a visit to the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary is on the agenda. This remarkable area brimming with biodiversity will undoubtedly resonate with nature enthusiasts. Afterward, savor a delightful lunch composed of a variety of traditional Colombian dishes, featuring fish as the central element!

The journey then progresses toward Cabo de la Vela, passing through Uribia, an important indigenous hub. Once at your destination, take in the unique blend of desert and ocean.

Your evening concludes with your accommodation arranged in Cabo de la Vela, where you will rest for the night.

Day 2: Cabo de la Vela - Riohacha

Start your second day with breakfast at the hotel in Cabo de la Vela, followed by a visit to the sacred Pilón de Azúcar beaches, significant to the Wayuu indigenous people.

After enjoying a relaxing morning at the beach, you'll have lunch at a traditional inn. The day will wrap up with your return to Riohacha around 2 PM, marking the end of your enriching experience!
