Day 1: Riohacha - Manaure - Cabo de la Vela

The journey begins at your chosen meeting point at the scheduled time for the 3-day exploration of Manaure, Cabo de la Vela, and Punta Gallinas. After a one-hour trip, our first destination will be the stunning beaches of Manaure, where we will visit Colombia's most renowned salt piles.

Next, we’ll explore the Manaure salt flats to understand the salt production process and appreciate the vast 4,200 hectares of land dedicated to it. Our adventure continues with a visit to the Los Flamencos Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, where we can admire the vibrant birds in a truly unique ecosystem. Following this, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch featuring the culinary delights of La Guajira.

After lunch, we will proceed to Cabo de la Vela, making a stop in Uribia, recognized as the indigenous capital of Colombia. A panoramic viewpoint awaits us, where we’ll capture the spectacular sights of the desert and Cabo de la Vela.

We will conclude the first day by checking in at a hotel in Cabo de la Vela, where dinner will be served before resting for the night.

Day 2: Cabo de la Vela - Punta Gallinas

Following a hearty breakfast at our lodging in Cabo de la Vela, we will continue on our 3-day journey through La Guajira. The second day will take us to remarkable sites like the Jepirachi wind farm, along with visits to Puerto Nuevo and the expansive deserts of Portete, Bahia Honda, and Bahia Hondita. Each landscape has its own distinct features that will surely amaze you!

Upon reaching Punta Gallinas, we’ll take full advantage of the stunning surroundings with a delightful lunch, enhanced by breathtaking views. Next, we will explore one of Colombia's most iconic locations, The Taroa Dunes. Here, we will marvel at its impressive vistas and have the chance to cool off in the nearby waters before heading to the Punta Gallinas lighthouse to witness a stunning sunset.

After sunset, we’ll return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night.

Day 3: Punta Gallinas - Manaure - Riohacha

On the final day, we begin with a substantial breakfast before setting off for the last leg of our journey. After driving nearly 200 kilometers from Punta Gallinas to Manaure, we will savor some of Colombia's most delicious dishes along Manaure’s coastline. Following the meal, you will have the opportunity to unwind with a rejuvenating massage using brine oil and other natural ointments, an unforgettable highlight of this excursion!

As our adventure wraps up around 2 PM, we will head back towards Riohacha, where you'll have the chance to appreciate the region's handicrafts before concluding the tour at your selected meeting point.
