Description of the 5-Day Tour

Day 1: From Riohacha to the Beaches of Manaure



Our journey commences as we leave Riohacha towards Manaure, affectionately referred to as "the white bride of Colombia." Along the way, marvel at stunning sights such as the Manaure Salt Flats and the rich Los Flamencos Flora and Fauna Sanctuary.



Following our explorations, we will indulge in a taste of Colombian cuisine with a seaside lunch. This will be followed by a visit to a Wayúu ranch before reaching our lodging in Manaure for the night.

Day 2: Journey from Manaure to Cabo de la Vela



As we kick off the second day, a delightful breakfast at the hotel awaits. By 8 AM, we will set off towards Cabo de la Vela, making a brief stop in Uribia, known as the indigenous capital of Colombia, before enjoying a meal at a local restaurant.



In the afternoon, we’ll arrive at Cabo de la Vela and take in the captivating landscapes, including Arcoíris Beach, Pilón de Azúcar Beach, Ojo de Agua Beach, and the iconic lighthouse.



The day concludes with a sumptuous dinner at our hotel in Cabo de la Vela.

Day 3: Cabo de la Vela to Punta Gallinas



After breakfast, we will continue our discovery of La Guajira. En route to Punta Gallinas, we will pass notable sights such as the Jepirachi wind farm and the beautiful deserts of Puerto Nuevo and Portete, including the stunning Bahía Honda and Bahía Hondita. Upon arrival in Punta Gallinas, we will take a break for lunch.



In the afternoon, admire the breathtaking location where the sky, desert, and sea converge, an idyllic setting that's perfect for photographs. Enjoy leisure time splashing in the crystal-clear waters of the Taroa dunes beach before we visit the Punta Gallinas lighthouse, recognized as the northernmost tip of South America.



A final dinner at our lodging in Punta Gallinas will round off the day's adventures.

Day 4: Punta Gallinas to Nazareth



As dawn breaks, we’ll begin with breakfast while soaking in the stunning views of Punta Gallinas. From there, we continue to Nazareth, aiming to arrive around lunchtime.



Post-lunch, our journey takes us to La Makuira National Park, where we will explore a remarkable oasis nestled in La Guajira's desert. Here, lush vegetation, clear waters, and ethereal waterfalls create a truly magical landscape.



Afterward, we will retreat to our accommodation in Nazareth for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Returning from Nazareth to Riohacha



On the final day of our adventure, we will enjoy breakfast in Nazareth. Once refreshed, we will set off back to Riohacha, taking in the picturesque scenery as we bid farewell to the enchanting desert landscapes of La Guajira.
