Day 1: Riohacha - Manaure - Los Flamencos Sanctuary

At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your selected meeting point in Riohacha and begin our road trip to Manaure. Our first stop will be the salt mines of Manaure, known for its salt mountains and pink pools. You'll learn about the salt production process and see the 4200 hectares dedicated to it.

After this visit, we'll enjoy a lunch of rice with meat or fish, patacones, and salad. In the afternoon, we'll visit Los Flamencos Wildlife Sanctuary to observe the wading birds.

Before returning to Manaure, we'll experience a salt massage, known for its dermatological and muscle-relaxing effects. We'll then watch the sunset over a bonfire on the beach before returning to our hotel in Manaure for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Manaure - Wayuu ranchería - Riohacha

After a breakfast in the hotel, we'll visit the beaches of Manaure and have a traditional Colombian lunch at noon. Then, we'll travel to a Wayuu ranchería to learn about the Wayuu traditions and lifestyle. At 2 pm, we will head back to Riohacha.

Accommodation and meals

The tour includes one night at the Brisas del Mar Hotel in Manaure or similar. Two breakfasts, two lunches, and one dinner are included.
