On this activity, we'll hike through the Laguna Garzón, a notable natural environment in southern Uruguay.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Ecoturismo Laguna Garzón offices, located by the lake, which is a protected area.
Once gathered, we'll begin a hiking route to explore this unique ecosystem. The Garzón Lagoon features the most significant patch of psamophilous scrubland in the country. Participants will gain knowledge about this ecological term during the tour.
As we walk along the lagoon, we'll take in the landscapes while being mindful of the natural ecosystem. The 5-kilometre (3.1-mile) route includes various stops to observe the birds that inhabit the Garzón lagoon.
After 3 hours of walking, we'll return to the starting point, concluding the hiking route.
