After pick-up from your hotel in Rome's historic center, you will visit the Basilica of St. John in Lateran, one of the four papal major basilicas, which features a Holy Door and a High Altar for papal Masses.

The next destination is the Scala Sancta (Holy Stairs), a significant pilgrimage site visited by many believers annually.

Your tour continues to St. Mary Major, known for its impressive artwork, particularly the famed icon of the Virgin Mary in the Borghese Chapel, linked to the city's protection from the Plague.

After exploring the basilicas, you will proceed to the historic Appian Way to visit the Catacombs of Rome, early Christian burial sites known for their historical significance during persecutions.

The tour concludes near the Piazza della Repubblica.

Hotel pick up and meeting point

Hotel pick-up is available for city center accommodations. The bus typically takes about one hour to complete pick-ups, based on traffic conditions and the number of passengers. Pick-up times start at 1:30pm (1pm from 1st November to 31st March) to ensure timely tour commencement.

In Rome, especially in places of worship, strollers, bulky bags, or umbrellas are not allowed, and proper attire (shoulders covered) is required.If the Catacombs of San Callisto are closed, the tour will visit the Catacombs of Santa Domitilla instead.This tour does not operate on religious holidays.
