Writers, artists and intellectuals from across the ages have fallen in love with the history, nature, hospitality and culture of Capri. Now it's your turn to discover the myths and legends surrounding the island and its Blue Grotto, an incomparable experience.

Day Trip Details

We will meet at viale Giorgio Washington or at your hotel in Rome at the specified time. We will travel south on the 'Sun Motorway', passing through the Italian countryside and the Castelli Romani area.

Upon arrival in Naples, you will board a ferry for a 45-minute journey to Marina Grande, Capri's port. A guided tour will follow, where we will explore the main town, stroll through its center, and visit the Piazzatta, enjoying views from a lookout point.

You will then visit the Blue Grotto, a cave known for its enchanting blue illumination caused by light entering the cave in a unique manner. After visiting, we will return to Naples, where you can see the Maschio Angioino fortress, Certosa di San Martino, and the Royal Palace.

The tour concludes back in central Rome after 14 hours.

Tour Options

You can choose from a tour without pickup, with pickup, or a self-guided tour:

Tour without Pickup

Meet at 6:45 am at viale Giorgio Washington, at the entrance to metro line A of Villa Borghese park.

Tour with Pickup

This option includes pickup from your hotel in Rome with 24-hour reception. If staying in apartments or bed and breakfasts, you must select the tour without pickup and arrive at 6:45 am at the meeting point.

Self-Guided Tour

This includes an English-speaking tour assistant who will provide roundtrip ferry tickets for independent exploration of Capri. You should meet the assistant at viale Giorgio Washington.

Partial Changes

If weather conditions prevent the visit to the Blue Grotto, an alternative visit to the Faraglioni rocks will be arranged. If the boat trip cannot proceed, a land tour of the island will be conducted.
