Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este Day Trip
After picking you up from your hotel, the tour departs Rome to Tivoli, known during the Roman Empire as a place for rest and relaxation, favored by historical figures like Emperor Hadrian.
Your first stop is Hadrian's Villa, a significant structure from the 2nd century, constructed by Hadrian as he was dissatisfied with his palace on Palatine Hill. The villa comprises gardens and a complex of palaces, fountains, and baths with influences from Greek and Egyptian architecture.
The tour then moves to Tivoli town, where you will visit Villa d'Este, a luxurious Renaissance residence adorned with ornate frescoes. The gardens feature over 500 fountains and sculptures, including The Hundred Fountains and The Fountain of the Organ.
After exploring these two sites, you'll return to Rome, ending the tour at the Piazza della Repubblica.
