Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Anagnina metro stop in Rome to begin an excursion to Castel Gandolfo, where we'll do a kayak tour of Lake Albano. After a road trip of about 20 kilometers (12 miles), we'll reach Albano Lake, a tranquil location. Following a quick paddling lesson, we'll get into the kayaks to start the tour.

We'll follow the guide and make several stops along the lake. Notable sites include the Roman port of Domitian's Villa, the Pope's trampoline, and a beach accessible only by kayak. Participants can enjoy swimming during this stop.

During the tour, we will see the Summer residence of the Pope, located on the mountain of Castel Gandolfo, surrounded by greenery. We will share numerous anecdotes and stories related to Lake Albano. After 2.5 hours in this scenic area, we'll return to the meeting point in Rome, allowing time for participants to shower and change.
