Description

At the designated time, we will meet at the Anagnina metro stop in Rome to begin our excursion to Castel Gandolfo for a kayak tour of Lake Albano. After a road trip of about 20 kilometers (12 miles), we will reach Albano Lake. Following a brief paddling lesson, we will get into the kayaks to start the tour.

We will follow the guide and make several stops along the lake, passing the Roman port of Domitian's Villa, the Pope's trampoline, and a beach accessible only by kayak. Participants can also enjoy swimming during the tour.

We will see the famous Summer residence of the Pope atop the mountain of Castel Gandolfo, surrounded by greenery, while sharing anecdotes related to Lake Albano. At the conclusion of the kayak tour, participants will have time to shower and change before we return to Rome.

After 2.5 hours in this picturesque location, we will drop you back at the meeting point in Rome. See you soon!
