Ponza Island Day Trip

Enjoy a day trip from Rome to Ponza Island. Cruise along the waters, feel the breeze in your hair and cool off with a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea!

Description

We'll meet in the Piazza di Porta San Paolo in Rome at 6:45 am, and from there, we'll board a minibus to the port of Anzio. After paying for the boat tickets, we'll take the ferry to Ponza Island.

After an hour and a half sailing, we'll reach the port of Ponza, where you'll have approximately an hour and a half to have breakfast before enjoying our boat ride.

After breakfast, we'll meet others joining us on the tour and board our boat for 5 hours cruising along the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The captain will visit the best spots on the island, passing old ruins and caves, and we'll anchor down up to five times for swimming and exploration, ideal for snorkeling due to the marine fauna.

The captain will prepare a simple but delicious lunch onboard during one of the stops. After swimming, we'll return to the port of Ponza, where you'll have approximately 1 hour of free time to explore. At 5:30 pm, we'll take the ferry back to Anzio and start our journey back to Rome, arriving between 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
