Ponza Island Day Trip

Enjoy a day trip from Rome to Ponza Island. Cruise along the waters and cool off with a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Description

We'll meet in the Piazza di Porta San Paolo in Rome at 6:45 am, and board a minibus to the port of Anzio. After purchasing boat tickets, we'll take the ferry to Ponza Island.

After an hour and a half sailing, we'll reach the port of Ponza, where you will have approximately an hour and a half for breakfast before our boat ride.

After breakfast, we will meet other participants joining the tour and board our boat for 5 hours of cruising along the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The captain will navigate to the best spots on the island, passing old ruins and caves, and will anchor down up to five times for swimming and exploration. This is a good opportunity for snorkelling amidst diverse marine life.

The captain will prepare a simple lunch onboard after one of the stops. Following lunch, we will return to the port of Ponza, where you will have approximately 1 hour of free time to explore.

At 5:30 pm, we will take the ferry back to Anzio and start our journey back to Rome, arriving at the initial meeting point between 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
