Ponza Island Day Trip

Enjoy a day trip from Rome to Ponza Island. Cruise along the waters and cool off with a dip in the Tyrrhenian Sea!

Description

We'll meet in the Piazza di Porta San Paolo in Rome at 6:45 am, and from there, we'll board a minibus to take us to the port of Anzio. After paying for the boat tickets, we'll take the ferry to Ponza Island.

After an hour and a half sailing, we'll reach the port of Ponza, where you'll have approximately an hour and a half to have breakfast before enjoying our boat ride.

After breakfast, we'll meet the other participants joining us on the tour from other locations, and then we'll board our boat for 5 hours of cruising along the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The captain will sail to the best spots on the island, passing old ruins and caves, and we'll anchor down up to five times for swimming and exploring. This is the ideal opportunity for snorkelling as there is much marine life to discover.

The captain will prepare some pasta for a simple lunch onboard. You'll need it after swimming!

Afterwards, we'll return to the port of Ponza, where you'll have approximately 1 hour of free time to explore. At 5:30 pm, we'll take the ferry back to Anzio and start our journey back to Rome, ending the tour at the initial meeting point, arriving between 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
