Ponza Island Day Trip

Experience a day excursion to Ponza Island from Rome. Glide across the water, relish the breeze, and take refreshing dips in the Tyrrhenian Sea!

Description

The adventure begins at Piazza di Porta San Paolo in Rome at 6:45 am, where we will board a minibus heading to the port of Anzio. After purchasing the ferry tickets, we will embark on our journey to Ponza Island.

Our ferry ride lasts about an hour and a half as we make our way to the port of Ponza, arriving with enough time for a leisurely breakfast to recharge before setting off on our boat tour.

Post breakfast, we will gather with fellow tour participants from various locations and board our boat for an exciting 5-hour cruise across the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The captain will guide us to stunning locations around the island, allowing us to pass by historic ruins and intriguing caves. During the journey, we'll stop at up to five spots where you can dive into inviting waters and explore. This is an excellent opportunity for snorkelling and discovering the vibrant marine life!

One of the stops will feature a delightful pasta preparation by the captain, providing us with a simple yet satisfying lunch onboard. This will be a welcome boost after all the swimming!

Upon returning to the port of Ponza, you'll enjoy roughly 1 hour of free time to stroll through its charming streets. Our return ferry to Anzio departs at 5:30 pm, starting our journey back to Rome. We will conclude the tour at our original meeting point, expected to arrive between 7:45 pm and 8:45 pm.
