On this tour of illuminated Rome we'll visit the most representative squares, streets, and monuments of the Italian capital when the city dresses up at dusk. The Vatican, Piazza del Campidoglio, and Piazza Navona are some of the stops.
Description
At the designated time, we'll meet at Piazza della Repubblica for our vehicle to take us on a journey through the illuminated sites of Rome.
Our adventure includes the grand Baths of Diocletian, Circus Maximus, and Palatine Hill, where we will view the Imperial Palaces. The Colosseum will also be seen from the vehicle.
We'll stroll through Teatro Marcello and Piazza Campidoglio, enjoying the terrace-viewpoint of the city. Our vehicle will then transport us to Piazza Navona, where we will capture night shots of the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, Fontana del Moro, and Fontana del Nettuno.
Next, we'll visit St. Peter's Square and view St. Peter's Basilica and the obelisk. After 2.5 to 3 hours, you may end your tour in Trastevere, near Piazza Trilussa, or have our driver return you to the starting point.
Summer Tour
During July and August, the route will lead us to the Colosseum, Imperial Forums, and Circus Maximus in the early evening before nightfall.
