Details of the Tour

We will gather at the designated location on Via Tunisi, number 4, situated near the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Are you excited to explore one of the most frequented destinations in Rome and the globe?

Prior to our entry, the guide will offer insights about the museums and elaborate on the fascinating history surrounding the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. As we progress on this tour, we will have the opportunity to appreciate a variety of sculptures, paintings, and artworks spanning numerous periods and styles.

A key moment during the tour will be our exploration of the Sistine Chapel, renowned for its breathtaking Michelangelo frescoes. Noteworthy amongst these masterpieces are The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment. In addition to being one of the most celebrated art collections worldwide, the Sistine Chapel serves as the venue for conclaves held to elect new Popes.

The guide will share a comprehensive overview of the history and artistry of this iconic site, either before or after we spend time inside, while strictly adhering to the silence rules. Following a detailed experience lasting around 3 hours, our tour will conclude within the museum.
