On this tour, you'll get access to the Sistine Chapel first thing in the morning, avoiding all the crowds. We'll also visit Saint Peter's Basilica and the Vatican museums!
Tour Details
We'll meet at the indicated time in Via Tunisi, 4 in Rome, near the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Thanks to a first access tour, we'll visit the museums in the early hours of the morning, when there are fewer crowds.
Before entering, our guide will introduce the museums and explain in detail the history of the Sistine Chapel, as there is no talking here. Without waiting in line, we'll enter the Vatican Museums and walk towards the Sistine Chapel.
You'll have time to appreciate all the details of the frescoes of the Sistine Chapel at your leisure, before continuing to St. Peter's Basilica. The murals and vault paintings feature masterpieces such as The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment by Michelangelo Buonarroti, The Temptations of Christ by Sandro Botticelli, and the Last Supper by Cosimo Rosselli.
St. Peter's Basilica
Generally, access to St. Peter's Basilica from the Sistine Chapel is available. However, please note that due to masses or other religious events, it may not be possible to enter from the Sistine Chapel, especially during the Jubilee year.
