elBulli1846: A Restaurant that Changed Everything

elBulli1846 is a museum dedicated to the legacy of elBulli and its transformative impact on gastronomy through Ferran Adrià. Located at Cala Montjoi in Rosas, it features 79 installations across 4,000 square metres (43,055 square feet) that explore the significance of elBulli.

elBulli1846 consists of 4 distinct spaces:

The Outside Space

This area presents the history of elBulli and the contributions of the Bullinianos over 50 years. Visitors will learn about the Sapiens Methodology and Bullipedia while reflecting on cuisine and innovation in an outdoor setting.

The Historic Building

The historic building offers insight into elBulli as a company and its method of innovating through food. Visitors will gain an understanding of the culinary experiences that defined one of the most renowned restaurants in the world.

The Interdisciplinary Relations

This section explores how elBulli interacted with various disciplines including science, journalism, photography, and art. It features publications, diagrams, notebooks, and maps illustrating the restaurant's global influence.

elBulliDNA

Here, visitors can explore projects from elBullifoundation focused on food and innovation.

Audio Guide

Your ticket includes an audio guide with additional content for a deeper understanding of elBulli1846. The audio guide is available in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French, accessible via your phone or a provided device.

Opening Times

The museum operates from May 1st to October 12th, 2024, Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 7:30 pm, with last access at 5 pm. The estimated visit duration is 2.5 hours.
